Virtuoso announces new Senior VP, Sales & Partnerships

NEW YORK — Virtuoso has appointed Cory Hagopian as its new Senior Vice President, Sales & Partnerships, effective immediately.

In his new role, Hagopian will oversee Virtuoso’s Member Relations and Partner teams, including Cruise, Hotels & Resorts, and Destinations & Experiences, as Virtuoso continues to expand globally. He will also be responsible for setting and driving the strategy to increase the network’s global sales production, optimizing Virtuoso products and services will also building on strong partner and member relationships.

Most recently, Hagopian oversaw the Entertainment Division for Accor and before that was responsible for Sales Effectiveness for a focus on sales incentive plans, data analytics and reporting. He also held sales and marketing leadership roles in Toronto, Montreal, Boston and New York, before moving into global sales positions at various times in Leisure, Travel Agency, Luxury and Entertainment segments. He has held roles with Westin Hotels & Resorts, Canadian Pacific Hotels and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, prior to Accor’s acquisition of Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.

He will report directly to Chief Operating Officer, Brad Bourland.

Hagopian will divide his time between his home office in Florida and Virtuoso’s New York office. He will oversee teams based in New York, Seattle and Florida, as well as remotely. His first order of business includes participation in Virtuoso’s Chairman Recognition event in Munich, where he will join his fellow senior leadership members in celebrating the network’s most engaged and top-producing agencies and advisors.
