Uniglobe celebrates agency excellence at 2026 Canadian conference

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE — Uniglobe Travel (Canada) welcomed 260 travel agency owners, managers, travel advisors and preferred supplier partners to its 2026 annual conference this past weekend.

Technology, industry partnerships and agency achievements all shared the spotlight at the three-day ‘Driven by Technology, Powered by People’ event, held at White Oaks Resort & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.

The education program tackled AI, selling skills and closing the sale, insurance sales and luxury cruising. GDS partners Amadeus and Sabre also delivered presentations. The supplier tradeshow brought together more than 60 exhibitors.

Dean Dacko, President of Uniglobe Travel (Canada), took the opportunity to recognize the organization’s more than 40 years of success in Canada, including agency partnerships stretching back decades.

Among the agencies honoured were Uniglobe Sunburst Travel in Dawson Creek, B.C., celebrating 45 years with the organization, and Uniglobe The Premiere Travel Group, with locations in Ottawa and Toronto, marking 43 years.

The conference wrapped up with its gala awards dinner, with Uniglobe Specialty Travel of Vancouver, B.C., taking home the Agency of the Year award.

Led by owner and President, Kelly Revell, the agency got the nod for its performance across several criteria, including financial stability, customer service, industry reputation and commitment to the Uniglobe organization. The award recognizes the highest-performing Uniglobe TMC.
