TORONTO — Sunwing is celebrating back-to-back flight inaugurations: Quebec City-Puerto Vallarta and Montreal-Mazatlán, both of which departed yesterday.
The company’s first-ever flight from Quebec City to Puerto Vallarta departed on Dec. 18 from Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport, and marked the start of its seasonal weekly service to Puerto Vallarta, which departs Mondays until April 15, 2019, inclusive.
Sam Char, Executive Vice President for Sunwing Travel Group in Quebec, said that the company is pleased to introduce the convenient direct flight.
“Puerto Vallarta is a consistently popular choice among our vacationers and we’re sure our Quebec City travellers are eager to experience Pacific Mexico’s warm and friendly culture, tropical climate, captivating views and golden sand beaches,” he said.
In Puerto Vallarta, guests can enjoy a wide range of accommodations with Sunwing, including Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa, the adults-only Hacienda at Hilton Vallarta, and the kid-friendly Riu Jalisco in nearby Riviera Nayarit.
Meanwhile, the first Sunwing flight from Montreal to Mazatlán also departed yesterday, marking the first of this season’s new weekly flight service to this popular Pacific Mexican destination. Flights depart every Tuesday until April 16, 2019, inclusive.
On the new Mexico service, Char added: “We are excited to be offering travellers in Montreal with even more ways to Vacation Better this winter. Known as the Pearl of the Pacific with top-rated resorts in the lively Golden Zone, neoclassical architecture in Old Mazatlán and top-rated beaches along the sparkling coast, we’re sure the addition of Mazatlán to our roster of destinations will be well received.”
Sunwing offers a range of resorts in Mazatlán for guests of all ages, including Riu Emerald Bay overlooking Brujas Beach, and El Cid Castilla Beach, which offers the best of both beach relaxation and city exploration.
All Sunwing vacation packages include return flights on Sunwing Airlines.
