“Travellers get closer” on GLP’s Kenya safari tours

TORONTO  — GLP Worldwide is encouraging all travellers to answer the call of the wild in 2019 with its three experiential Kenya safari tours.

“These tours have been curated to provide a more personalized safari experience with many of the safaris on private conservancy land where the mass market safaris aren’t allowed on,” said Alan Law, GLP Worldwide’s director of sales and marketing. “Travellers get closer and learn more about the land, wildlife and the people of Kenya, and we have carefully selected luxury safari lodges, hotels and luxury tented bush camps, which provide a distinctly Kenya travel experience.”

Here are the three safari tours:

  • Best of Kenya (six nights, from $2,930 pp, double): Guests will stay at The Ark, world famous for its Noah’s Ark resemblance and located in Aberdare National Park, plus visit Kenya’s largest rhino sanctuary. They’ll also observe the spectacle of one million flamingos in Lake Nakuru, go on safari in Shaba National Reserve, and embark on game drives through Masai Mara National Reserve.
  • Elephant Trails Highlights (six nights, from $2,170 pp, double): This trip kicks off at Amboseli National Park for a stay at Amboseli Serena Sarova Lodge. Guests will then visit Observation Hill before heading to the coast for a stay at the four-star Southern Palms Beach Resort.
  • Ultimate Kenya (eight nights, from $10,300 pp, double): Guests will start the trip with a luxury stay at Nairobi’s historic Fairmont Norfolk Hotel, which once hosted such esteemed guests as Winston Churchill and Karen Blixen. They’ll also stay at Serian, an exclusive and private bush camp retreat next to the Masai Mara National Park, and relax at Delta Dunes Lodge, a Robinson Crusoe-styled camp with just six well-appointed cottages. Other highlights include sundowner cruises, boat rides and water and land safaris.

Departures run throughout the year. Tour prices include accommodation per itinerary, transportation in chauffeur-driven shared safari vehicles, meals as per itinerary, all government levies and taxes, English-speaking guide, and 24-hour standby contact number. International airfare is excluded.
