TORONTO — During the Destination France 2014 tour, which took place in various Canadian cities between Feb. 24 and 28, TravelBrands Inc. was named ‘Partner of the Year’ by Atout France, which recognizes “the highest level of participation in the France Tourism Development Agencies actions based on campaigns, seminars and other events organized by Atout France.”
Some of these events included participating in the Destination France 2013 tour last February, the Western Canadian Normandy Shows in Calgary and Edmonton last fall to promote Holiday House’s and FunSun Vacations’ new Battlefield Tours, attendance at the Salon Rendez-vous in Toulouse, France, last March, and active participation on the advisory board of Atout France.
“France is our #1 selling destination in Europe, with Paris being the anchor and long stays on the Côte d’Azur and our fly & drive programs throughout the country being the next largest sellers,” said Paul Holinaty, Director Product, Independent Travel, TravelBrands Inc.
