TravelBrands makes $10,000 donation to Food Banks Canada

TORONTO — TravelBrands is once again lending its support to Food Banks Canada with a donation of $10,000 that will go towards helping families and individuals facing food insecurity.

In addition to the large sum, Frank DeMarinis, CEO of TravelBrands, will be matching the donation with his own personal contribution of $10,000.

“We are proud of the work that Food Banks Canada does to support Canadians in need and commend their efforts to ensure those struggling can access meals,” says Frank DeMarinis, CEO, TravelBrands. “During this season, it’s vital that we come together to help alleviate the strain on the people and families who have been impacted the most. We’re confident that our joint effort will make tangible differences for those who are relying on additional support this year.”

This marks the third consecutive year that TravelBrands has partnered with Food Banks Canada, a charitable organization that works coast to coast to ensure that no Canadian goes hungry.

“We cannot do this alone. Food insecurity is a challenge across Canada in every community,” said Kirstin Beardsley, CEO, Food Banks Canada. “We need your support and we feel your generous support! So thank you for continuing to make sure that food bankers aren’t alone in the fight against food insecurity in Canada.”
