Travel2’s Leia Marvin joins TravelOnly as new VP, Client Success

TORONTO — TravelOnly has appointed travel industry veteran Leia Marvin as its new Vice President of Client Success.

With nearly 20 years of travel industry experience, Marvin has worked with brands including Qantas Vacations, Goway Travel, Tourcan, AAT Kings and, most recently, Travel2 where she served as Sales Manager, Canada.

In her new role, Marvin will be the key point of contact for TravelOnly advisors and provide marketing support, monthly communications and one-on-one appointments that focus on individual annual sales plans.

While most of her career has been focused on South Pacific wholesale and tour operating, she says she is “thrilled” to be joining TravelOnly, which is celebrating 45 years this year.

“I was overwhelmed with the support from advisors to suppliers, wholesalers and tourism boards after my departure from Travel2. Thank you to all of you,” she says. “While I received several amazing offers and opportunities, this was by far the most exciting path for my career. I have been fortunate to have worked alongside many of the TravelOnly advisors over the years and have travelled with several of them to the South Pacific. I have honoured to be part of such a dynamic team and look forward to helping them become even more efficient and successful.”

Marvin also notes that her role at TravelOnly will help ensure that advisors are utilizing the most valuable practices to grow and success.

“Technology has become a major factor in streamlining business to be more efficient and ultimately more profitable. As technology advances at a fast pace, it can become overwhelming as there are one hundred moving parts to the advisor’s role. With social media, websites, shows, etc., advisors have one hundred different faces,” she adds.

On Marvin joining the team, Gregory Luciani, President and CEO of TravelOnly, said: “Building a culture of excellence starts from within. Over the past few years we have been very strategic about finding the best talent from inside and outside the travel industry. I am very proud that we have attracted such high caliber professionals to TravelOnly. Each new appointment has made us a stronger organization, and with Leia in place I truly believe we have a ‘dream team’ to support our TravelOnly advisors and propel them to even greater success.”
