Travcom teams up with ACCEL PCI to help agencies become PCI compliant

MONTREAL — Travcom Canada, which provides accounting and CRM applications to Canadian travel agencies, is partnering with ACCEL PCI to enhance its accounting and management solutions.

ACCEL PCI features a user-friendly portal designed to assist agencies in becoming PCI DSS compliant, which in turn helps them to maintain a secure environment and avoid cyber-attacks or data breaches.

Travcom Canada’s solutions are already meeting the PCI DSS guidelines, but IATA has tightened its compliance requirements since 2018. All companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information must prove that they are PCI compliant.

“Partnering with ACCEL PCI is a natural choice for Travcom Canada because ACCEL PCI is a Canadian company whose customer base consists of small- and medium-sized businesses,” said Mike Miocevich, General Manager of Travcom Canada. “Moreover, ACCEL PCI is backed by Ubitrak Inc., a Certified Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) with extensive experience in the travel industry.”

ACCEL PCI’s portal includes an orientation questionnaire to determine which Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs) to fill out, as well as a step-by-step personalized tool with a complete SAQ kit that comprises videos, training, policies and procedures. The portal also offers a professional support team to guide travel agencies through the process.

“Travcom Canada is at the cutting edge of technology in the travel industry, and it is with great pride that we welcome them among our partners. We look forward to helping their customers achieve PCI DSS compliance,” said Christian Richard, president of ACCEL PCI.
