Four new Airbus A321XLR aircraft on the way for Air Transat

Transat extends suspension of operations through June 30

MONTREAL — Transat has extended its suspension of operations until at least June 30.

Sunwing announced a similar move yesterday, effective through June 25.

Transat says it will continue to issue future travel credits, for use within 24 months of the original return dates.

On its FAQs page Transat says currently its flights/packages scheduled for travel after June 30 remain valid. “If you still decide to cancel your trip right now, our regular terms and conditions will apply,” says Transat, telling passengers, “as the situation is changing rapidly, we suggest that you wait a little before modifying your booking.”

More information for Transat can be found here.
