Trafalgar releases worldwide 2015/16 Autumn, Winter, Spring program

TORONTO — Trafalgar is releasing its first-ever worldwide 2015/16 Autumn, Winter, Spring program offering a selection of seasonal experiences across Europe, Asia, U.S. and Canada.

Showcasing 52 itineraries across eight different trip styles including three new Christmas Spectacular guided vacations, clients now have more opportunities than ever before to discover the world’s seasonal experiences when they travel from November 2015 to March 2016.

“Trafalgar continues to offer agents and their clients the real deal year round with the largest range of seasonal itineraries offering guests an abundance of unique experiences,” says Doug Patterson, president of Trafalgar Canada. “In addition, guests travelling between November and March will enjoy fewer crowds and savings of up to 27% compared with summer travel.”

Clients can save up to 7.5% across Trafalgar’s 2015/16 Autumn, Winter, Spring program with Early Payment Discounts of $1,290 per couple available when they book and pay in full before Aug. 31, 2015. Past passenger discounts of 5% per person (land only) are also available for travellers who have previously travelled with The Travel Corporation’s family of brands.

For the first time ever in 2015 Trafalgar will take clients even deeper into the European Christmas festivities to experience Europe’s oldest and largest Christmas market in Strasbourg on the new 10-day Christmas Markets of Strasbourg and the Black Forest guided vacation. From Paris to the historic city of Reims and east to Strasbourg, Colmar and Freiburg, guests will see a different side to Europe during the magical festive season than they would experience when travelling on their own.

Also featured for the first time ever in Trafalgar’s Autumn, Winter, Spring program is the 9-day Splendors of Japan trip where clients will visit eclectic cities, traditional villages and snow-capped mountains. Guests will enjoy the delicate presentation and sumptuous flavours of an authentic Kaiseki Be My Guest lunch at a traditional Ryokan nestled in the peace and quiet of Mt. Yoshida. The hosts of the Ryokan will reveal its Imperial history and connections to Emperor Akihito as clients explore the manicured gardens and savour delicious dishes together, before being presented with a seasonal waka poem, hand-written in calligraphy as a souvenir of their visit.

For sun seekers, Trafalgar is also offering a Costa Rica Eco Adventure where all the iconic experiences come together on this 8-day itinerary from visiting Tortugero National Park to seeing Arenal Volcano to walking through the treetops at Monteverde Cloud Forest. Spending two nights in Monteverde Cloud Forest, clients will meet a native Quaker and Local Specialist who will share stories of Old Town Monteverde and also enjoy an excursion through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve which will offer a bird’s-eye view of the forest on the Sky Walk.
