Trafalgar explores the wonders of Asia with new 2014 brochure TORONTO — Following a popular year for bookings to the East in 2013, Trafalgar is launching its Asia brochure for 2014 with trips to China, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

The operator has added two new trips to its Asia lineup – the 11-day Secrets of Thailand and 15-day Highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia. This is Trafalgar’s first full itinerary to Thailand and it contains Insider Highlights designed to allow guests to explore the destination like a local.

Also new, as additions to the Secrets of Thailand trip, are three optional extensions for travellers who wish to mix-and-match their trip for ultimate flexibility. Whether they choose to start the trip with three days in Singapore or end it with four days in Koh Samui or Angkor Wat, travellers can book their trip knowing that Trafalgar has taken care of all the details.

In Ban Mae Kampong, Thailand, Trafalgar travellers sit down to an exclusive Be My Guest lunch at a homestay to learn about the community’s culture (Secrets of Thailand);
Guest are treated to local specialties like a Thai massage on the grounds of Wat Pho temple, and Unique Insights such as the thrilling train ride over the River Kwai in Bangkok (Secrets of Thailand);
In Trafalgar’s Authentic Accommodation, guests will spend a night on a traditional Vietnamese junk boat in Halong Bay, with a Tai Chi lesson onboard (Highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia);
Guests will stroll the grounds of the vast Angkor Wat complex and explore the Cu Chi Tunnels of the former Viet Cong in Ho Chi Minh (Highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia).
