TORONTO — Trafalgar is giving one travel advisor the chance to join the inaugural sailing of its newest river ship, Trafalgar Dreamer, as part of a search for the vessel’s Godmother ahead of its April 2027 debut on the Seine.
Through ‘The Great Godmother Search’, past Trafalgar guests can submit a meaningful travel story or memory for the chance to be selected as the ship’s Godmother and christen Trafalgar Dreamer. The winner will receive a place on the inaugural voyage and can bring their named travel advisor along, who will also receive a complimentary spot on the sailing.
Trafalgar is encouraging advisors to share the opportunity with past clients, but asks that they not submit entries on guests’ behalf. Entries are open until Oct. 29, 2026, and applicants must include their travel advisor’s name in their submission for the advisor to be eligible to join the sailing.
“Travel has a way of creating memories that stay with us long after a trip comes to an end, and those stories are at the heart of what makes the Trafalgar experience so special,” said Melissa DaSilva, Deputy CEO and Chief Sales Officer, TTC Tour Brands. “The Great Godmother Search allows us an opportunity to celebrate the meaningful connections our guests have made through travel and invite one of those travelers to play a special role in welcoming Trafalgar Dreamer to the Seine.”
The search continues a Trafalgar tradition established with Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie, whose Godmothers were past guests Cassie Estrella-Roca and Kate McIntosh.
Trafalgar Dreamer will begin sailing the Seine in April 2027 on the new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary, offering guided travel, local experiences and opportunities to connect with destinations along the route.
Past guests can enter at TrafalgarGodmother.com, where full eligibility requirements, judging criteria and campaign terms and conditions are available.
