Park’N Fly employees ‘Stuff the Bus’ with toys for charity

TORONTO — Park’N Fly employees held their ‘Stuff the Bus’ toy drive on Dec. 2.

The seventh annual event was held outside of the Toys “R” Us at 4559 Hurontario Street in Mississauga. Together with their volunteers, partners, associates of the Toys “R” Us Hurontario location, and the community, the Park’N Fly bus was stuffed full of toys and holiday cheer.

Shoppers were treated to candy canes, treats, coupons and the chance to take a selfie with Geoffery the Giraffe and other costumed characters.

Generous donors were thrilled to board the Park’N Fly bus and carefully place their gift among the collection of toys, said Frank DeCesare, Park’N Fly’s VP Sales and Marketing.

“This is one event that really gets the office buzzing. There is no better way to get ready for the holiday season than giving to others – especially in support of deserving families at Christmas,” said DeCesare. “There is a sense of satisfaction when working with partners like The Salvation Army and CTV, knowing that these donations are directed at those that need them most. That’s why our team gets so excited about this event each year.”

The mountain of toys collected at this year’s ‘Stuff the Bus’ event will be presented to the Salvation Army during CTV Toronto’s live evening news television broadcast on Friday, Dec. 22 at the CTV studio in Toronto. All toy donations will be distributed by the Salvation Army to provide help and hope to families struggling to make ends meet.
