Club Med opens new travel agency in Toronto

ORONTO — Two years after launching its Montreal agency, Club Med has opened its second Canadian travel agency in Toronto.

Located at 361 Queen Street West, the Toronto agency welcomes adults and children and offers a virtual reality experience that invites guests to explore Club Med resorts around the world before deciding where to book. It is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.

Quebec-based design firm Conceptum, the same firm that designed the Montreal agency, dreamed up the interiors with inspiration from Club Med resorts. The space is divided into different guest areas and is illuminated with bright colours and ambient light.

Given its central location in the commercial area of Toronto, and positioned at street level, the new agency brings a flagship presence that will serve multiple functions, including increasing awareness of Club Med’s Sun and Ski products in the Ontario market. Similar to the Montreal agency, the Toronto space will allow travel advisors to nurture relationships and host events for GMs.

The Club Med Montréal agency, in operation since 2021, has directly contributed to the successful launch of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, Club Med’s first Canadian resort that opened in December 2021. The resort saw an impressive 80% of guests from Canada in its first year, 35% from Ontario directly.

On opening the Toronto agency, Vincent Giraud, Managing Director of Club Med Canada and North America Sales Operations, said: “We are very proud to be opening the first Club Med Agency in Toronto. Club Med remains deeply committed to experience Club Med’s exceptional customer service and to book their own trip to Club Med Québec Charlevoix or one of our other unforgettable Ski or Sun destinations around the world.”

In addition to the new agency, Club Med has much to look forward to in the pipeline, including new resorts like Kiroro Grand in Japan, one in Malaysia and, for the first time, a resort in South Africa as well as various expansions in the Alps. These developments will be added to Club Med’s already 70 existing destinations worldwide.
