5Continents eyes strategic growth as Greca comes onboard April 15

MONTREAL — Sabrina Greca is joining the team at 5Continents effective April 15.

Greca was most recently with NCL.

As the cruise industry veteran put it: “Working abroad made me realize what’s most important to me: my children, of course, but also all the incredible connections I’d made in Canada – and yes, I did miss the travel agents.

She added: “I’m well aware that people think they’ll have to dissociate me from the world of cruises, and that won’t be 100% the case, but I promise to put as much passion into 5Continents as I’ve put into cruises! I’m honoured by David’s confidence in me to help him grow this company, which is already so successful and whose values are already close to my heart.”

David Boigné, President and Founder of 5Continents, said Greca’s position, National Director of Business Development and Marketing, was created as part of 5Continents’ strategic growth plan.

“We define ourselves as a service company based on people more than technology, so who better to take this mission to the next level than Sabrina,” said Boigné.

5Continents is exclusively B2B, working with the travel consultant community and is keen to increase its presence within it, he added.

Boigné noted that Michèle Rauzon, who joined 5Continents in 2019 and has made a significant contribution to the growth of the brand nationally, remains in post. “You can’t invent an ambassador like Michèle, and we’re very proud to have her on the team,” he said. Claudia Tourigny meanwhile is holding down the fort in inside sales.

Valérie Favreau, General Director of 5Continents, said the team is already working on transforming its operational structure so that it is ready to manage the expansion, with two new colleagues joining the current team in April.
