Top or bottom? ‘Magic Mike’, bunk beds come to Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — ‘Magic Mike’ star Channing Tatum has announced he’ll direct ‘Magic Mike Live Las Vegas’, billed as a live male strip revue based on the 2012 movie and Magic Mike XXL, the 2015 sequel.

Tatum starred as the title character in the films and is a former stripper himself but says he won’t be taking the stage for the live show. Magic Mike Live Las Vegas is scheduled to begin previews at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino next March.

Meanwhile The LINQ Hotel & Casino has announced that bunk bed rooms with “hip technology and chic décor” are now available to book. Aimed at millennials and modern travellers, the rooms give guests the chance to bunk with four of their Strip sidekicks, just in time for summer vacation, says The LINQ.

Rates start at US$69 and the rooms are 350 square feet in size, with two queen pillow-top beds with one twin-size bunk bed loft. Electronic features include USB charging stations and a 47” LED flat-screen TV.
