Tokyo Tourism eLearning contest winner gets Air Canada ticket to Japan

TORONTO — Travel advisor Vanessa Barone is the lucky winner of an air ticket to Japan, the grand prize in the Tokyo Tourism eLearning contest.

The prize is courtesy of Air Canada.

Tokyo Tourism’s contest kicked off in November 2022 when the e-learning program launched on Travelweek’s Learning Centre.

Agents who completed all six themes of the program by Feb. 28 qualified to win the air ticket to Japan.

Air Canada offers the most daily flights between Canada and Japan with direct nonstop service from Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal all year round.

Shin Kawai, Director, Canadian representative office of Tokyo Tourism, sent his best wishes to the winner, and thanked Air Canada and all the travel advisors who completed the Tokyo Tourism eLearning program.

“Congratulations, Vanessa! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who managed to find the time to take the eLearning courses despite their busy schedule. The best way for us to respond to your continued support is to welcome all Canadian visitors to Tokyo with a warm ‘Omotenashi’ spirit,” said Kawai. “I would also like to thank Air Canada for its generous sponsorship of this promotional campaign.”
