TICO invites travel agents to roundtable sessions and to meet with new Travel Registrar

TICO invites travel agents to roundtable sessions with new Travel Registrar

MISSISSAUGA, ON — The Travel Industry Council of Ontario is reaching out once again to the industry for feedback.

As part of its ongoing industry engagement campaign, TICO will be holding three roundtable sessions in March 2015 to gain insight from travel agents.

The purpose is to share information and secure input from registrants and travel agents. In these sessions, TICO will be presenting information on its mandate and current initiatives and will seek feedback on a variety of issues of importance to the Ontario travel industry including TICO’s Consumer Awareness Campaign.

This is also an opportunity for attendees to meet Ontario’s newly appointed Travel Registrar Richard Smart who will also be participating at the sessions.

Feedback received from participants at the roundtable sessions impacts the way TICO communicates and works with the industry as well as how it promotes the industry to the public. Similarly, participants have gained increased insight into being part of a regulated industry and the value of associating their business with TICO.

Participants have had the opportunity to address a broad range of issues and these sessions will continue that tradition, said TICO.

Space is limited so participants will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no fee to attend and meals and refreshments will be provided during the sessions.

Times and locations:
