HALIFAX — Maritime Travel has named Kimberley Wood as Director of Branch Operations for Western Canada.

Wood was most recently with Transat Distribution Canada (TDC). She stepped away from her role as Director, Franchise and Affiliate Members in late June, after nearly 14 years at Transat.

In her new position Wood will be responsible for Maritime Travel’s 22 leisure agencies in B.C. and Alberta.

Maritime Travel, in business since 1949 and headquartered in Halifax, has 90+ agencies across Canada. It operates as LeGrow’s Travel in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Maritime Travel was recently named a Platinum Club winner of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, after taking honours as one of Canada’s Best Managed companies every year since 1998. Maritime Travel is also a member of Virtuoso.
