Three named to Canadian team for Las Vegas

Charmaine Singh, President, Connect Worldwide Canada, has named Afra Davis, David Han and Marsha Mowers the Canadian team for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

Davis is the LVCVA Canada’s Western representative, operating out of Vancouver. She brings more than 15 years of superior sales and customer service experience, most recently with WestJet Vacations. Davis was a part of the start-up team at WJV.  Prior to her career at WJV, Afra held positions at Meridian Holidays, Infinity Holidays and Cathay Pacific.

Han is the representative (Eastern & Ontario) and has worked with the ConnectWorldWide Canada office since 2012, where he worked on the San Francisco Travel, Choose Chicago and Scottsdale CVB accounts. Prior to joining CWW, Han worked with the U.S. Commercial Services where he was responsible for logistics and event planning for key industry events that include the Discover America Day Reception.

Mowers is the Trade PR representative, bringing more than 15 years communications experience in Travel, Corporate, Sports and Entertainment PR. She previously worked with Charmaine Singh on the NYC&Company, The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), The Greater Houston Visitors and Convention Bureau (GHVCB) and San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) accounts. Mowers has also worked for Citytv in Toronto, St. Joseph Media (WeddingBells and Canadian Family magazines) and Molson Canadian Hockey House at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
