TORONTO — The B2B global travel portal TBO Holidays has arrived in Canada.
As a B2B travel portal the company says it provides travel agents with access to over 350,000 hotels worldwide in real time at tboholidays.com. Agents can choose from a large inventory of hotels and dynamic packages, all with net rates.
Access to wholesale rates, dynamic rates and BAR rates for hotels are shown in a single screen.
Founded over 10 years ago as a B2B travel portal for Middle East and India, TBO now counts sales offices on five continents “and provides a compelling and cost-effective way for agents to access travel content from 50+ leading suppliers globally”, along with its own directly contracted content.
TBO says it has customers in 90+ countries with total sales exceeding US$1 billion in 2017.
Agents can quote rates in currency of their choice, manage online trip quotes, and monitor back-office activity, with 24/7 reservations support. TBO also reconfirms each hotel booking and provides a hotel confirmation number before check-in.
“Our XML/API enables online travel agencies and travel suppliers access to our vast global travel content via XML interface integration into their reservation system or website,” says TBO.
A mobile app, available on both iOS and Android, allows agents to make and access bookings while away from the office. A ‘Roamer’ app is available for clients, allowing them to access all their bookings while remaining in touch with the agent.
