MAASTRICHT — Dutch-based Taxi Tender and Amadeus have partnered up to provide global access to pre-arranged discount airport taxis. With this new partnership, travellers are able to book airport taxis in advance when they book their trips through travel agents, or on airline and airport websites.

Taxi Tender – also known as Cheap Taxis / Your Airport Transfer (YAT) – is the only company in the Netherlands that offers worldwide airport taxis. The company’s proprietary system for price comparison calculates the average taxi fare per route to and from the airport when booking a trip. The ride will then be auctioned among local taxi and transfer companies, thus guaranteeing a favourable fixed price for travellers, even before leaving home.
