TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations has added a second weekly sun flight out of Kelowna, B.C., offering service to Cancun on Sundays from Nov. 6 to April 9. Sunwing is also bringing back its Varadero flight out of Kelowna for the 2016/17 season.

“Our sunshine flights have been departing from Kelowna since 2010, and we’re delighted to be offering our customers direct access to two of our most popular vacation destinations for the first time this coming winter,” said Sunwing Vacations’ President, Tour Operations, Andrew Dawson.

Properties on offer include Relax Resorts, SplashWorld Resorts (with free access to an onsite or nearby waterpark) and SMILE Resorts with their Kids Stay, Play and Eat Free deals, complimentary kids clubs, teen pricing and no supplement for single parents.

One of the tour operator’s exclusive Sunwing Selection resorts, Sensatori Azul Riviera Cancun, offers meet and greets with Nickelodeon cartoon favourites including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants. An onsite spa, varied activity program and range of land and water sports are also available.

A week at Sensatori Azul Riviera Cancun is available from $1,275 plus $415 taxes per person based on two people sharing a Luxury Jacuzzi Ocean View Suite on an all-inclusive basis and departing from Kelowna on Nov. 6.
