“Now even simpler to navigate, this latest edition of the brochure includes easy-to-read approval ratings based on verified feedback from over 600,000 of last year’s Sunwing guests, a uniquely relevant source for Canadian vacationers to the south,” said Andrew Dawson Sunwing Vacations’ President of Tour Operations. “Another new feature is the three highlights provided by our team of expert product buyers, who have carefully selected each resort included in the brochure themselves.”

Along with continuing to offer its popular Relax Resorts and Smile Resorts,  where couples and families alike benefit from inclusions and perks, the tour operator has also introduced Sunwing Selection hotels. Exclusive to Sunwing Vacations, the new handpicked lineup of properties has been chosen based on their popularity, value and superior range of amenities.

Other highlights include the new Royalton Negril this winter (and open for sale later this month); he newly-launched Kidcations program; more SplashWorld Resorts where clients get unlimited, complimentary access to an on-site or nearby waterpark as part of their stay; and Royalton Blue Waters, opening this fall in Montego Bay. The property offers an on-site waterpark and lazy river, dining options across 11 restaurants, kids and teen programs and plentiful land and water sports options.

New destinations include Saint Lucia (and coming this fall, Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa); and the laidback Dominican resort town of Juan Dolio.

New routes will see passengers flying from Toronto to Saint Lucia; London to Montego Bay; Regina to Grand Bahama; and Kitchener to Punta Cana. Several gateways will also benefit from additional services this coming winter. Both Victoria and Kelowna will operate with two routes instead of one, with the addition of Victoria to Huatulco and Kelowna to Cancun. Winnipeg adds three destinations this winter with flights to Puerto Plata, Mazatlán and Orlando.

Signature Vacations’ new 2016/17 brochure, meanwhile, is based around its unique vacation collections, a first for the tour operator.

Designed to appeal to different interests and vacation styles, the 2016/17 brochure features six exclusive collections that have been designed in partnership with some of the leading hotel and resort chains across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.

Signature’s RIU-topia Collection offers 37 all-inclusive resorts where guests get unlimited dining and drinks, in-room liquor dispensers, spa credits and more. They can also take advantage of several exclusive programs offered at no additional charge including RIUFit, RIUArt and RIULand for younger guests. Those who upgrade to a RIU Palace resort get even more perks including poolside waiter service, daily champagne breakfasts and complimentary WiFi throughout.

New additions to RIU for this coming winter include two five-star adults-only properties: the elegant Riu Republica slated to open in the Dominican Republic in June and Riu Reggae, Montego Bay which opens its doors this November.

New to the Signature brochure, the Emerald Collection  offers a unique selection of eco-friendly resorts offered by Krystal Hotels. A good option for families, Krystal Ixtapa offers a designated children’s pool, kid-friendly activities, relaxing spa and a nearby golf course.

Specially designed for food lovers, the Culinary Collection, in partnership with Karisma Resorts, provides a packed timetable of cooking classes, tequila tastings, wine appreciation sessions and gourmet dining as part of the generous all inclusive package at seven resorts located in Mexico. Exclusive to Signature Vacations, Sensimar Seaside Suites & Spa features 10 different à la carte restaurants and 11 bars in an incomparable setting on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.

Clients can also opt for the Celebrity Collection and get benefits including $1,800 in resort credit at Hard Rock’s resorts across the Caribbean and Mexico.

The Crown Collection brings additional value to seven of Palace Resorts most sought-after properties with an array of benefits included. At Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, younger guests are catered to with a FlowRider Double Wave Simulator, kids pool and playroom.

The brochure rounds out with the Divine Collection in partnership with Velas Resorts. Featuring four properties located on Mexico’s Pacific and Caribbean coastlines, clients can expect lavish rooms with pillow menu, bathrobe and slippers and deluxe room service together with a personalized check-in. A top pick is the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit with unlimited free WiFi, infinity Jacuzzi and a spa, with golf nearby.
