Sunwing launches 48-hour sale on Royalton Luxury Resorts

Sunwing extends suspension of operations to Aug. 16

TORONTO — Sunwing has pushed back the date for its suspension of operations for all southbound flights to Aug. 16.

Like other airlines Sunwing has had to extend its suspension of operations several times in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Passengers with departure dates for flights or vacation packages between March 17 and Aug. 16 are eligible to receive a future travel credit in the value of the original amount paid. No action is needed, as original booking numbers will be the code of their future travel credit.

Sunwing will communicate formally via the email address it has on file, including group travel bookings.

Credits can be redeemed against future travel to anywhere Sunwing Airlines operates, depending on the original departure date.

For original departure dates between March 17 and May 31, 2020, future travel credits are redeemable up to June 20, 2022.

For original departure dates June 1 – Aug. 16, 2020, future travel credits are redeemable up to Aug. 31, 2022.
