TORONTO — Starting Dec. 21 Sunwing will offer new weekly departures from Regina to Mazatlan, with flights running through March 29 inclusive.
The addition of the new flight means Sunwing will be offering Mazatlan from a total of seven airports across Canada this winter.
“We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Regina airport this winter,” said President of Tour Operations, Andrew Dawson.
“Mazatlan is becoming an increasingly popular vacation destination for Canadians, so we’re excited to continue helping our customers save time and money with this convenient flight service.”
Ken Washchuk, acting CEO of the Regina Airport Authority, said the RAA has a long, proud and successful partnership with Sunwing. “Adding new flights and tropical vacation destinations for our winter travellers enhances our customer service, making it even easier for local residents to enjoy a tropical getaway,” said Washchuk.
Sunwing’s properties in Mazatlan include El Cid Marina, known for its secluded golden-sand beach and elegant décor with a prime location in Mazatlan’s vibrant Golden Zone. Other options include Riu Emerald Bay overlooking Brujas Beach.
