MIAMI — Silversea passengers will get the chance to cruise with the brand’s top executives on an exclusive voyage onboard the reimagined Silver Shadow.

Departing Dec. 10, 2019, this preview sailing in the Caribbean will be hosted by Mark Conroy, Managing Director of The Americas, and Peter Shanks, U.K. & Ireland Managing Director, both of whom will host a number of bespoke events.

Inspired by the design of Silversea’s flagship Silver Muse, Silver Shadow’s extensive renovation includes the creation of a new atrium area on deck 5, which will house the Arts Café, as well as major enhancements to public spaces, including the expansion of La Dame restaurant, the renovation of Connoisseur’s Corner, and a remodeling of the Observation Library.

The ship’s spacious guest suites will also undergo a floor-to-ceiling renovation, with Vista and Veranda suites benefitting from a full renovation of all fixed and loose furniture, new lighting, carpets, and headboards. Meanwhile, Silver Shadow’s Medallion, Silver, Grand, and Royal suites will be upgraded with a new colour scheme and new materials, as per Silver Muse.

The nine-night cruise will depart Dec. 10 from San Juan and visit Basseterre (St. Kitts), Roseau (Dominica), St. George’s (Grenada), Castries (St. Lucia), St. John’s (Aruba and Barbuda), St John (U.S. Virgin Islands), and Fort Lauderdale. Fares start from $5,600 per person and include return flights (departing Dec. 9), as with all Silversea’s Caribbean voyages.

Guests who book and pay for their cruise before Aug. 30, 2019, will benefit from a one-category suite upgrade and $1,000 shipboard credit per suite. Plus, all guests who book this cruise by July 31, 2019, will receive a free shore excursion in every port on this sailing. In addition, Venetian Society members can save a total of 10%.
