TORONTO — Signature Vacations will offer packages to Riu Republica year-round from Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. The 24-hour all-inclusive, 18+ adults only resort is located on the Macao beachfront in Punta Cana and is set to open this June.

During the winter months travellers can choose from 19 different gateways across Canada; including daily departures from Toronto and Montreal.

The resort is set in tropical gardens and offers two large infinity pools with spacious sun terraces, free WiFi throughout, concierge service, modern fitness centre, Jacuzzi, steam bath, and a Renova Spa including a beauty parlour and massage service.

Dining options include three à la carte restaurants: Tagliatella specializing in Italian classics; Kaori (the best of Asian cuisine); and Quisqueya, a grill-steakhouse by the pool. There’s also a main buffet restaurant where guests can sample Dominican specialties at dinner. The Riu Republica also features five bars, including swim-up pool bar Aquamar and a 24-hour sports bar where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails throughout the day.

Complimentary water sports include windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and an introductory diving lesson in the pool. Golf courses are nearby.

Along with return flights on Sunwing Airlines, Signature Vacations guests also benefit from RIU-topia inclusions like unlimited dining and drinks, discounts on select excursions, in-room liquor dispensers and spa credit among others.

A week’s getaway to Riu Republica is available from $965 plus $465 taxes per person based on two people sharing a Standard Room on an all-inclusive basis and departing from Toronto on June 5.
