Signature introduces STAR points for first time, double for RIU bookings

TORONTO — Travel agents can now earn STAR points for the first time on Signature Vacations bookings effective Nov. 2.

Previously only applicable on Signature Vacations group reservations, the STAR program allows agents to earn points each time they confirm a client’s booking which can then be converted into cash.

Agents should visit sunwingagents.ca if they are not already registered in the program to apply for their own personal STAR card and start earning today.

In addition, every booking confirmed for a RIU resort by Jan. 31, 2016 for departures Dec. 17, 2015 to June 30, 2016 will earn agents double the STAR points. Exclusive tour operator for RIU Hotels & Resorts, Signature Vacations offers a wide selection of RIU properties across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, where customers can benefit from a host of exclusive RIU-topia inclusions ranging from in-room liquor dispensers to welcome drinks, regularly replenished minibars and discounts on popular excursions.

Recent additions to the product lineup include the newly-renovated Riu Negril featuring the new RIU look along with refurbished guest rooms, new sports bar and completely redecorated restaurants; the recently refurbished Riu Playacar situated on a prime stretch of white sands on Mexico’s Riviera Maya and the adults-only Riu Palace Antillas, Aruba which enjoys a privileged location overlooking one of the island’s finest beaches.

To qualify, agents must add their STAR card to reservations within 24 hours of booking. This can be done in SIREV, GDS, Revnet or through the Agent Booking Portal on sunwingagents.ca.
