TORONTO — Blue-Roads Touring Co. has released its 2019 fam season schedule, with four fams available in Europe and Asia.

The fams include: the 6-day Hanoi and Halong Highlights roundtrip from Hanoi (June 15 – 20); the 9-day Le Belle France roundtrip from Paris (Aug. 27 – Sept. 4); the 5-day The Heart of England roundtrip from London (Sept. 25 – 29); and the 9-day Discover Portugal from Lisbon to Porto (Oct. 27 – Nov. 4).

Cost is $499 (agent rate) and $999 (companion rate). Airfare and pre/post not included.

Miles Walker, Blue-Roads’ BDM – Western Canada & Pacific Northwest USA, says agents will be given first right to the fam seats. Companions will only be chosen if space is available. Agents can indicate on their application form if they would not like to be considered if their companion can’t go too.

Walker adds: “We will make every effort to accommodate single rooms but we cannot guarantee it. Based on the types of hotels we use, we cannot guarantee single rooms for everyone. Agents may be roomed together in rooms offering two beds. Once we know how many single travelers and how many companions have been chosen, we can look at revising room allotments with the hotel.”

 The $499 cost “includes everything a normal tour would include,” says Miles. “Driver, guide, hotel, breakfast daily, some lunches and dinners, all entrance fees, all authentic local experiences, etc. We will run these fam trips exactly how a tour would be run so you get the true experience. If it’s included for your clients, it’s included for you. If it’s not included for your clients, it won’t be for you.”

All itineraries are the same as the brochure with the exception of Hanoi and Halong Bay which is slightly shortened.
