Scenic releases 2025/2026 Antarctica ultra-luxury voyages

VANCOUVER — In response to the high demand for once-in-a-lifetime Antarctica expedition voyages, Scenic has announced the early release of its Scenic Eclipse 2025/2026 Antarctica program.

The 2025/26 season will be Scenic Eclipse’s sixth in the Antarctic Peninsula. Guests will enjoy exploring the remotest parts of this region, as the Discovery Yachts are the only ultra-luxury ships to offer such extensive exploration by Zodiac, helicopter (additional cost), submersible (additional cost), kayak and stand-up paddleboard.

With site landings restricted to up to 100 people at a time by IAATO, Scenic Eclipse has only up to 200 guests on board, to maximize opportunities for multiple landings each day with extended time on shore.

Anthony Laver, Scenic Group GM Sales and Marketing APAC, said: “In response to the high demand for once-in-a-lifetime Antarctica expedition voyages, guests are encouraged to explore ‘Antarctica your Way’, with a collection of Antarctica Voyages, perfect for varying types of expedition travel. Exclusive experiences include exploring the McMurdo Dry Valleys in East Antarctica, a landscape that has been compared to the surface of Mars and is only accessible by helicopter.”

Clients can choose from the 13-day Antarctica in Depth, roundtrip from Buenos Aires, or the 16-day Antarctica in Depth: A Magical Christmas & New Year Wishes, part of Scenic’s Antarctica Highlights offering. It’s perfect for first-time visitors. The 20/23-day Antarctica, South Georgia, and Falkland Islands invites travellers to Explore Further; these trips are designed for those who want to explore the region for longer. And for adventure seekers wanting an expedition deep into the heart of Antarctica, an Ultimate Expedition – like the 25-day Mawson’s Antarctica: Along the East Coast, passengers follow in the footsteps of Douglas Mawson’s Antarctic expedition. Mawson is the South Australian geologist who accompanied famed Antarctica explorer Ernest Shackleton during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition of 1911–14.

Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II are purpose-built to navigate Antarctica region, with a Polar Class 6 rating. Suites onboard the ultra-luxury Discovery Yachts range from 32 – 245 square metres and feature elegant furnishings and state-of-the-art amenities with personalized butler service.

All Scenic Eclipse voyages are all-inclusive, meaning guests can leave their wallets in a safe place and relax, knowing everything is taken care of. Prices include internal flights, transfers, fine dining experiences, premium branded beverages and more.
