Industry veteran Rhonda Stanley is joining The Travel Agent Next Door as VP, Talent Development, effective immediately. The role will see her developing new entrants for the home-based division, as well as managing the conversion of agencies that want to join the growing travel agency support services division. Stanley has a proven track record in leadership roles, most recently with Global Matrix as Director of Sales, where she was responsible for growing the Global Matrix customer base through sales and marketing strategies in both Canada and the U.S. Prior to that, Stanley held several senior roles at Sears Travel, including Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. During her many years at Sears Travel, Stanley was working directly with managing agencies, growing sales, developing talent and overseeing marketing initiatives. She has extensive experience with every aspect of the retail travel industry. A results-driven sales executive, Stanley will focus on growing both the Travel Agent Next Door’s agency and home-based networks. The Travel Agent Next Door was created to fully support the retail travel industry, specializing in the home-based travel agent, supporting medium to small size agencies, and agencies that would like to start their own home-based business.
