LAS VEGAS — Virtuoso’s 38th annual Virtuoso Travel Week wrapped up last night with an elegant awards gala honouring the advisors, member agencies and preferred partners whose contributions have strengthened the Virtuoso network and the broader travel industry over the past year.
Comedian, actor, television and radio presenter Patrick Kielty, host of The Late Late Show, hosted last night’s gala at The Bellagio.
The evening recognized individuals and brands “whose leadership, vision and commitment to excellence are helping set the standard for the industry worldwide,” and served as the grand finale of a week defined by human connection, discovery and business growth, said Virtuoso.
Among the Canadian winners, Trevello Travel Group took home the award for Best Agency Culture.
In the Most Admired Advisors category, in Canada, the winner was Patrick Cullinane / Travel Navigators, an independent affiliate of Trevello Travel Group.
Canada’s Rising Star was Sasha McGrath / Terra Travel Club, an independent affiliate of TTI Travel.
Another award, The Luminary Award, recognizes a Virtuoso partner “that upholds the highest professional standards, serves as a leader in their industry and embodies the spirit of the Virtuoso network through their dedication and engagement. The recipient of this award exudes brilliance and sets a standard for others to follow.”
This year’s Luminary Award went to a well-known friend of the Canadian travel industry: Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
