TORONTO — TravelBrands’ parent company Red Label Vacations has launched a new brand that specializes in travel to Japan.
HIS-TravelJapan offers flights, hotel stays, tours, rail passes and more Japan-related products, all on one platform. Other destinations are also available on the site, at his-traveljapan.com.
A subsidiary of Japan’s H.I.S. Co., Ltd. (H.I.S.) acquired Red Label Vacations Inc. in early 2019. H.I.S. also owns Merit Travel after first purchasing a majority stake in 2016. It also purchased Jonview Canada from Transat in 2017.
HIS-TravelJapan has access to the popular Japan Rail Pass, which allows international travellers to use the transit systems at an affordable rate.Flight options, hotel stays, excursions and other activities are also available, in a variety of budgets and destinations.
Red Label Vacations says HIS-TravelJapan works directly with Japanese travel partners to provide expert knowledge, insight and advice to travellers.
In a timely offering for the pandemic, HIS-TravelJapan also has new virtual tours, “for those who would like to experience Japan from the comfort of their own homes.” Groups of travellers can access their own virtual host who provides a personalized tour through some of Japan’s most popular areas.
