Porter to launch new summer route between Stephenville and Halifax June 28

TORONTO — Porter Airlines is introducing seasonal service between Stephenville, NL, and Halifax.

From June 28 to Aug. 31, Porter will operate one weekly roundtrip flight, with introductory one-way fares beginning at $163, including all fees and taxes.

“As the only scheduled service between these destinations, we’ll be able to offer passengers an easier, more affordable flight option than anything that is currently available,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines.

Stephenville is Porter’s fourth destination in Atlantic Canada, with flights already operating from Halifax, Moncton and St. John’s.

Between June 28 and Aug. 31, Porter will offer a Saturday flight departing from Halifax at 4:55 p.m. and landing in Stephenville at 6:35 p.m. A return flight departs Stephenville on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and arrives in Halifax at 10:25 a.m. All times are local.
