Playa Resorts Management has made two new appointments to its Canadian sales team, according to Kevin Froemming, Chief Marketing Officer and EVP. Rose Cosentino has joined Playa as Director of Sales for Canada and Amanda Morris has joined the team as Eastern Business Development Manager for Canada. Cosentino will oversee the Canadian team that also includes longtime Playa Western Business Development Manager for Canada, Freddie Marsh. Playa Resorts Management is the operational management component of Playa Hotels & Resorts B.V. which owns and operates Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, as well as THE ROYAL and Gran brands. Cosentino brings more than 25 years of experience in the Canadian travel industry, having held a number of senior management positions with several Canadian companies including, most recently, Vice-President of Sales & Supplier Relations at iTravel2000, and General Manager at Huntington Travel. Her previous experience also includes National Director of Sales & Customer Care for Signature Vacations and National Manager, Canada for CWT Concierge.
