ORLANDO — What is your spirit animal? For Sparrow, a lovable service-dog-in-training, his would be none other than Chewbacca.

The golden retriever recently made the trip to Disney World in Florida from his home in the United Kingdom as part of a special training program for service dogs. There, he met up with Star Wars’ Chewy, the world’s most famous Wookiee, and it’s safe to say it was love at first sight.

Photos of their encounter were posted on Instagram by Sparrow’s humans and have quickly gone viral for their ‘awwww’ factor.

In one photo, seven-foot-tall Chewbacca is seen nearly nose-to-nose with Sparrow, while in another pic the two furry friends share a tender kiss.

The Wookiee wasn’t the only larger-than-life character Sparrow met that day – he was also introduced to Jessie, the spunky cowgirl from ‘Toy Story’. In fact, Sparrow got to test out his burgeoning service skills after mistaking Jessie’s hand movements as a sign of distress.
