Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has named Darren Toohey vice president of Global Program Solutions (GPS), Americas. In this role, Toohey will lead the Americas GPS sales team, achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth and business development in the large market. Toohey will work with CWT’s largest and most strategic clients, helping them drive creative solutions to improve the traveller experience and reduce costs by leveraging CWT’s innovative technology to improve processes and compliance. Toohey has been with CWT for eight years, serving as both vice president of global sales as well as supporting CWT’s WorldMate platform as vice president of partnerships. He is a two-time CEO Award winner for growth at CWT. Prior to joining CWT, he had 15 years of global experience in the financial services, consulting and hospitality industries. He will report functionally to Cathy Voss, executive vice president of GPS and regionally to Patrick Anderson, president of CWT Americas and will join the CWT Americas Leadership Team.
