HAMILTON, ON — Old Republic Insurance Co. has appointed Laurence Allen as TIPS Travel Insurance Regional Sales Manager, South West and Northern Ontario.

Allen began his career in the insurance business over 20 years ago in B.C. and Alberta.

In his new role Allen will be responsible for overseeing sales as well as nurturing existing relationships and growing new relationships.

“I’m excited to get out and meet our travel agent partners, share my knowledge and help them grow their existing travel insurance book of business,” he said.

The company has also appointed Vena Chopra as TIPS Travel Insurance Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada.

Chopra joins the company with over 20 years of industry experience. After owning her own agency in Vancouver she worked with both Sears Travel and Sell Off Vacations in management roles.

In her role Chopra will be responsible for overseeing sales as well as strengthening existing relationships and developing new relationships.
