BOSTON — Boston’s Seaport District recently welcomed a chic new resident with the grand opening of Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, featuring stunning views of Boston Harbor and the city’s skyline.

Located between the city’s waterfront and the Fort Point Channel Historic District, this AAA Four Diamond new-build, the second Omni Hotels & Resorts property in Boston, is across the street from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and is less than 15 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport.

“An extraordinary team of talented and dedicated individuals made this moment a reality,” proudly stated Mike Jorgensen, Managing Director of Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. “We happily open our doors for Bostonians and guests from far and wide, who will make [the hotel] their new home away from home for any occasion.”

A joint venture between Omni Hotels & Resorts, New Boston Hospitality and several locally-based investors, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the first project developed under the city’s ‘Massport Model’, setting a new American standard for integrating diversity and inclusivity into each stage of development and operation.

Peter Strebel, President of Omni Hotels & Resorts, expressed the company’s devotion to the city. “Boston is such a symbolic city in our nation’s history and we look forward to extending our presence by bringing an entirely new hospitality experience to one of the city’s growing neighbourhoods. Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a true reflection of modern Boston.”

Well-known for its extensive fine arts options and committed to innovation, Boston’s influence on the hotel’s modern architecture is reminiscent of a modern art gallery. Guests are welcomed into the lobby with a one-of-a-kind feature: a platform stage, designed for music and performances and inspired by the architecture of the Institute of Contemporary Art, also located in the Seaport District. Paintings, sculptures, murals and mixed media pieces are found throughout the property, many created by Boston-based artists.

With 1,054 rooms, including 52 suites, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport adds to the district’s skyline with two 22-storey guest room towers. The Patron Tower’s spacious and elegant décor showcases vivid colours and contemporary furnishings, starting at 380 square feet. The Artist Tower is inspired by artist lofts with clean lines and purposeful design.

The 22nd floor of the Patron Tower is home to the Presidential Suite, a 2,000-square foot two-bedroom suite with 180-degree views of the urban skyline. Suite amenities include a dining room with seating for eight, adjoining bar and pantry, pool table and lounge area, private office, two fireplaces, screening room and a bathroom retreat with walk-in shower and freestanding soaking tub.

With a multitude of bells and whistles at one’s fingertips, Omni Boston at the Seaport tempts guests with seven dining options. There’s upscale all-day dining at Kestra for foodies seeking Mediterranean-American flavours, small shareable plates at The Sporting Club, open-air Lifted Pool Bar on the fifth floor for au courant cuisine, contemporary cocktails at lobby bar Crescendo and Legato Grab & Go Market, the hotel’s independent coffee shop perfect for busy executives.

In collaboration with COJE Management Group, locals and visitors can make reservations at sultry Coquette, a modern French brasserie inspired by the cuisine of southern France and northern Spain. Guests can also pop into the lobby’s Cocorico which transforms from café by day to wine bar at night. For those who prefer room service, the hotel’s Off the Script experience allows guests to order popular items from any of the hotel’s seven restaurants to create a customized dining experience en suite.

Boasting 100,000 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor event space over four floors, Omni Boston at the Seaport also has the largest ballroom in town and memorable flex space options such as the 3,000-square foot outdoor Elevate Balcony.

When vacationers desire me-time, the in-house Breve Spa beckons: this spacious sanctuary provides face and body treatments as well as salon services, any of which can be enjoyed with a cocktail. There’s also a 3,000-square foot 24-hour fitness centre, with 200 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows and numerous workout options including Peloton bikes, ellipticals, stair stepper machines, vertical Smith machines, TRX pull-up stations, CYBEX strength equipment and workout accessories. For those who need to lounge, the fifth floor is home to a sunny rooftop deck and outdoor pool.

For summer 2022 Omni Hotels & Resorts has unveiled ‘Water + Color’, with Omni mixologists and chefs concocting memorable poolside sip and savour menu items. Wellness-inspired, guests can discover colourful menu icons representing energy, positivity, immunity, tranquility and clarity. The Splash of Summer package is available at participating locations and includes accommodation, US$100 food & beverage credit and Water + Colour Omni beach towel, available until Sept. 29, 2022.
