AMBERGRIS CAYE, BELIZE — Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye in Belize has officially opened its doors, providing families with a secluded and sustainable hideaway just steps from the beach.
Having opened this week and representing the first Beach Resort between Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts, the resort is surrounded by shallow, crystal clear waters and a 190-mile-long barrier reef teeming with marine life. Ambergris Caye is Belize’s largest island, just on the tip of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, located just a short drive from San Pedro. To get to the resort, guests can fly into Belize City then take a scenic flight and private boat transfer to the hotel pier.
Grand opening rates begin at US$285 per night and can be booked now through April 15, 2023, for travel through Jan. 2, 2024.
“We are thrilled to welcome our first guests to Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye. This family-friendly, sustainable resort invites guests to immerse themselves in a beautiful off-the-beaten-path destination while still enjoying a luxury vacation experience,” said Daniel Lozano, Vice President of Operations at Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
