New look, testimonials on revamped The Travel Agent Next Door site

TORONTO — The Travel Agent Next Door has launched its completely redesigned website thetravelagentnextdoor.ca, created to help agents and potential agents navigate the company’s various services.

There are now three divisions to The Travel Agent Next Door:

  • The home-based agent network
  • Support services for smaller agencies
  • New Agent training services

The site has videos both from senior management members Flemming Friisdahl, Penny Martin and Rhonda Stanley, as well as testimonials from TTAND agents and agencies.

“We are very proud of the testimonials on the site,” said TTAND Founder Flemming Friisdahl. “When our agents have such good things to say about us, we know we are on the right track.”

The site has sections dedicated to home-based agents, smaller agency owners, cruise agents, and people who are looking for a career in travel. The site outlines the Travel Agent Next Door’s program in detail. “We hope agents will take the time to browse our site,” said Friisdahl. “We are confident they will be pleasantly surprised by some of the details of our program.”

There’s also a commission calculator, where agents can calculate what their commission would be if they were part of The Travel Agent Next Door.

The Travel Agent Next Door was created to fully support the retail travel industry, specializing in the home-based travel agent, supporting medium to small size agencies, and the newest addition, the New Agent program, created for people wanting to start a career in travel.

Through an affiliation with TRAVELSAVERS and the Affluent Traveler Collection, The Travel Agent Next Door has access to a broad range of programs, in addition to its own features.

The company has a head office in downtown Toronto and a branch office in Vancouver, with BCCP, ACTA, TICO, CLIA and IATA designations.
