Napili Kai Beach Resort recognized for its Aloha Spirit

Napili Kai Beach Resort, situated on ten beachfront acres on Maui’s Napili Bay, was recognized as one of the top five Hawaii resorts for ‘Best Aloha Spirit’ in Hawaii Magazine’s Third Annual Reader’s Choice Awards.

In addition, the resort’s popular Sea House Restaurant was named in the top five in two categories: ‘Best Hotel/Resort Restaurants’ and ‘Best for Breakfast’ in the islands. The awards were announced in the magazine’s current March/April 2015 issue.

The Sea House Restaurant is located beachfront at Napili Kai, offering a comfortable, easy-going ambiance with sweeping ocean and sunset views. Last year the Sea House celebrated its 50th anniversary and underwent an extensive renovation.

It is the recent recipient of the OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award for January and February 2015 and was named ‘Best Breakfast Spot on Maui’ last fall by the editorial staff of Hawaii Magazine in the publication’s 2014 ‘Best of Hawaii’ issue (Sept/Oct). It was also voted ‘Best Breakfast on Maui’ in 2011 by readers of Maui No Ka Oi magazine in its annual ‘Aipono culinary awards.

The Sea House breakfast menu features such creative dishes as Molokai Sweet Potato Egg Frittata, Hawaiian Sweet Bread French Toast, Sunrise Panini (a breakfast sandwich of scrambled eggs, bacon, Provolone cheese, pesto and tomatoes on a toasted asiago ciabatta), and oven-baked pancakes made with a custard batter. The popular Haleakala Pancake, in particular, is topped with caramelized cinnamon sugar, pineapples and bananas.

Napili Kai Beach Resort, a long-time favourite of Canadian travellers, is known for its comfortable accommodations, relaxed, friendly ambiance, and stellar Hawaiian setting on crescent-shaped Napili Bay. The resort is made up of 163 hotel rooms, studios and one- and two-bedroom suites in 11 low-rise plantation-style buildings, with kitchen facilities provided in all studios and suites.

Other amenities include a large ocean view whirlpool spa, two putting greens (one for children, one for adults), shuffleboard courts, fitness room, boutique day spa, and guest barbecue facilities. Many complimentary services and activities are offered to guests, including parking, in-room high-speed Internet service, a Keiki (children) Eat Free program, and a complimentary children’s program for families visiting during Easter, mid-June to late August, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year’s.
