Martinique launches Specialist Program with chance to win trip to Club Med

TORONTO — The island of Martinique in the Caribbean has launched a new Specialist Program for travel agents on Travelweek’s Learning Centre full of important information to sell the destination.

Agents who complete the course before Oct. 15 will have a chance to win a trip for two to Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek in Martinique.

“The workshop is an easy and quick way to learn useful information and facts about Martinique on the Learning Centre’s comprehensive platform,” says Muriel Wiltord, Director Americas of the Martinique Tourism Authority.

Participants will learn about the island of Martinique which offers guests natural beauty, endless attractions and cultural sophistication. In addition to white-sand beaches and tropical flowers, it also offers cosmopolitan pleasures like world-class shopping, architecture and gastronomy.

“With nonstop 5-hour flights out of Montreal and no time zone difference, Martinique is a close corner of paradise waiting to be unveiled or rediscovered,” added Wiltord.

Martinique is a short flight from Canada, with weekly nonstop flights with Air Canada all year round, and with CanJet during winter, both out of Montreal.

“Travel agents play an important part in the promotion of our beautiful island, and we wanted to give them the best tools to help them sell the destination,” says Wiltord.
