Lynx Air tickets now on sale

CALGARY — Lynx Air flights are officially on sale with the launch of a new booking website featuring tickets to five Canadian destinations.

Canada’s new ultra-affordable airline, headquartered in Calgary, unveiled its new site on Jan. 19 featuring flights to Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Kelowna and Winnipeg onboard a fleet of brand new Boeing 737 aircraft.

Its inaugural flight will depart Thursday, April 7, 2022 from Calgary to Vancouver. Daily flights will be available between these two hubs, increasing to twice daily on May 20, 2022.

On April 11, 2022, Toronto will be added to the Lynx network, with four flights a week from Calgary and increasing to seven flights a week on April 18, 2022. Daily flights between Toronto and Vancouver will launch April 28, 2022.

Lynx’s network will continue to ramp up over the following weeks, with two services a week to Kelowna from both Calgary and Vancouver starting April 15, 2022.

Winnipeg will be added to the network on April 19 with two flights per week to both Calgary and Vancouver. Flights from Calgary to Winnipeg will increase to four per week on May 5, 2022.

Lynx first announced its plans to launch as Canada’s newest ultra-low-cost carrier in November 2021. Earlier this week, it also announced a new Free Flights for a Year contest in which two grand prize winners will win one roundtrip flight per month to any Lynx destination for 12 months.
