Liz Scull joins DWHSA as new GM in Canada

NASHVILLE — Destination Wedding & Honeymoons Specialists Association (DWHSA) has appointed Liz Scull as its new general manager in Canada.

A well-known figure in the Canadian travel industry, Scull will help build DWHSA’s membership in Canada and offer romance travel training programs for Canadian travel advisors. Currently, 15% of the association’s members reside and work in Canada.

DWHSA President Lisa Sheldon said that the association is “pleased that Liz has joined as our general manager in Canada,” and that it now has a “dedicated professional providing training, marketing tools and support exclusively for DWHSA’s Canadian members.”

Scull began her career in the product and marketing departments at various tour operators and eventually landed at Ensemble Travel Group as marketing manager in 2010. There, she helped grow the company’s DestinationVows program by adding dedicated training options, marketing tools, a destination wedding magazine, exclusive wedding shows and conferences for Ensemble members. At the same time, she became managing editor and creative director of ‘Vacations’, Ensemble’s premier travel magazine. She now works as a travel advisor herself based in Toronto with Romantic Planet Vacations.

DWHSA was formed in 2013 and has grown to be the world’s largest network of romance travel professionals, with more than 750 agents in North America and around the world. For more information go to
