NASSAU — Sandals Resorts recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation of Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island’s Windsor building that includes new swim-up river suites.
Each of the building’s 174 luxurious suites has received a complete refurbishment, including the installation of new bathrooms that feature Carrera marble and glass mosaics, as well as magnificent new showers or deep tubs. Fourteen swim-up suites have also been created, with the addition of a spectacular river pool on the ground floor.
A Zen Garden, complete with peaceful water features and serene statuary, has also been added to the landscape, providing guests with a quiet and private escape.
“We have already received very positive feedback from the first guests experiencing these enhanced rooms,” said Patrick Drake, general manager at Sandals Royal Bahamian. “Swim-up suites are a favourite accommodation option at a few other Sandals resorts around the Caribbean, and we are thrilled to introduce them here in the Bahamas.”
Last year, the former Manor Building at Sandals Royal Bahamian underwent a complete transformation both inside and out, reopening with a spectacular new contemporary feel. Renamed ‘The Balmoral Tower’ in recognition of its rich regal history, the US$17.5 million-dollar renovation was unveiled to much acclaim and has since attracted glowing praises from both the travel industry and guests alike.
As with all Sandals resorts, Sandals Royal Bahamian welcomes guests to Nassau, Bahamas with a myriad of exclusive amenities from luxurious accommodations and Butler service to gourmet specialty dining and premium wines and spirits. For more information, visit sandals.com/main/bahamian/ba-home/.
