Air Canada Vacations to introduce a $35 currency surcharge as Canadian dollar continues to slide

MONTREAL — Given recent negative fluctuations in the value of the Canadian dollar versus a range of other currencies, Air Canada Vacations will apply a currency surcharge of $35 per person on all new vacation bookings effective Jan. 27.

This surcharge will be applicable to all vacation packages sold by Air Canada Vacations to all destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico & the USA for all new bookings for departures starting Jan. 27, 2014.

Air Canada Vacations’ prospective customers should book before Jan. 27 to avoid the $35 currency surcharge. This new surcharge will remain in effect until further notice and is not commissionable.
