GLP Worldwide launches new 2014-15 Variety Cruises yacht brochure

GLP Worldwide launches new 2014-15 Variety Cruises yacht brochureTORONTO — GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours is releasing the 2014-15 Variety Cruises – The Yacht Cruising Experience brochure.

GLP Worldwide is the Canadian representative for Variety Cruises.   Based in Athens, Variety Cruises is a family-owned cruise and yacht business which focuses on the cultural, architectural, historical and natural diversity of the various destinations it offers.

The 64-page brochure details the variety of yacht cruising experiences from West Africa, Greece, Italy & Malta, Costa Rica & Panama, Seychelles, Cape Verde and West Africa. All pricing is in Canadian dollars.

“These cruises and yachting experiences are ideal for those who want to truly experience the destination, its people and culture,” said Alan Law, director of sales and marketing for GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours. “The ships are smaller but not the luxuries and amenities and due to their smaller size they are able to venture into areas the larger cruise ships would not.”

The new 2014-15 Variety Cruises brochure provides detailed cruise itineraries including pricing, pictures of the vessels used on its cruises, terms and conditions and destination information. Both traditional and non-traditional cruise destinations are offered.

For those who relish the cultural side, there are many cruise itineraries featuring the food, wine, culture and history of the destination.

One of the new cruises in 2014 is the ‘The Treasures of Costa Rica and the Panama Canal 2014’. The 8-day cruise is on the new 72-passenger (36 cabins) Megayacht Variety Voyager. The cruise departs from Los Suenos in Costa Rica and is priced from $3,140 per person based on double occupancy in a ‘C’ cabin  (cruise only price). The cruise finishes in Cartagena, Colombia.

Both pre- and post-tours are available. Highlights of the cruise include visits to Manuel Antonio and Corcovado National Parks, Granito de Oro Island and Tortuga island and opportunity for swimming/snorkelling, crossing of the Panama Canal and the distinct San Blas islands.

The brochure is now available for ordering or can be viewed online at glpworldwide.com.
