MIAMI — The new-build El Dorado Seaside Suites has officially opened with a popular location near Mexico’s historic and picturesque Tulum Mayan Ruins.
The beachfront property has 192 swim-up and infinity suites, each with its own pool on a private terrace or balcony, and one of the largest spas in the Riviera Maya. It neighbours the former El Dorado Seaside Suites site (now Sensimar Seaside Suites).
Two room categories – Oceanfront Infinity Jacuzzi Suites and Oceanfront Swim-up Jacuzzi Suites – offer “unexpected comforts and amenities with endless views of the azure Caribbean Sea”, says Karisma. In addition to the private terraces, each unit has an outdoor day bed and a romantic circular sofa designed for two that swivels 360 degrees.
The resort is the only property in the region with infinity or swim-up pools on all six floors. The first floor will be comprised of the swim-up suites that provide direct access to the main swimming pool and swim-up bar, while floors two through six will host the spacious infinity pool suites with epic vistas.
Guests can explore one of the largest reefs in the Riviera Maya, archeological destinations, Eco Parks, natural Cenotes, authentic Mayan civilization, plus Tulum is only a 20-minute drive down the coast.
The Mayan-themed N’aay Spa offers a full treatment menu including ancient holistic treatments, hydrotherapy, herbal therapy, facials, ice room, mud cabin and reflexology.
As part of Karisma’s Gourmet Inclusive Experience, 20 on-site dining and bar establishments offer a mix of high-design indoor fine dining experiences and casual al fresco dining.
Meanwhile the scenic sky deck will be the ultimate Mexican locale for weddings and private events, providing views that tower over the region’s lush natural greenery and offer open-air views of the Caribbean sunsets.
Rates start at US$340 per person, per night for the Oceanfront Infinity Jacuzzi Suites, or $407 per person, per night for the Oceanfront Swim-Up Jacuzzi Suites. See karismahotels.com.
